Love this plant 💚 my first begonia was the red salsa.

I took a large fishbowl and placed 5 or 6 different orchids, added aquatic rocks. Placed some crawling moss and such in the rock crevice. I also have the same little glass house and placed 2 orchids with some white elephant rock with a furn behind the rock. ❤❤❤

What is the temperature it can handle in summer

What if you try a granular treatment for pests that way it will grow into the plant which may stop the horrible mites!

I live in a desert and was thinking of putting it in a terrarium.

Dropping leaves!?

My tips have also been browning out, but we’re so dry and I only water when I feel likel the part is much lighter and dryer

I live in Arizona. It’s very dry. I only water my rex once a week, but I do water from the top. It started dropping leaves the stem and the new growth looks good maybe bottom water?

We just bought one today and everyone was telling us how they had one and it died so I was worried. Thanks for this video. We do have a humidifier in the room so hopefully that will help. We have the wrong kind of pit though so we have to change that. Because it was a tropical plant I was going to mist it, but you didn’t mention that at all. So we won’t do that.

May I suggest you water more by soaking in a bowl and don't top water. you want them green move them further away from the light. Also maybe get deeper pots as they have deep roots.

The only way I've been able to keep any tradescantia alive is by putting it in PON.

If you cannot get the leaves or stems wet with water, how do they handle the mealy bug spray? Do you just spray and then put it by a fan to dry?

For what I understand Haworthias don’t self pollinate.

i hate begonias, they always die on me.... That is before i place them in Pon. They are thriving! I place them outside my corridor though, receive direct morning sun for 3hrs.

Every home is different environment and i find you sometimes have to Improvise a bit
